Description
The Alcester-Hudson School District is a K-12 school that serves the communities of Alcester and Hudson. with approximately 450 students. The Alcester-Hudson school district also has a free pre-school program with separate classes for the 3 and 4 year old children, along with a free after school program for Kindergarten through 6th grade. The after-school program starts right after school and runs until 6 p.m. and includes recess time, snack time, crafts activities, homework assistance, games and more. Thanks to the smaller class size ( a student to staff ratio of 14- to- 1), Alcester- Hudson teachers are able to provide 1-on-1 interaction with the students. home of the Cubs also boost of an active and successful athletics department.
The Alcester-Hudson School recently completed an addition of the Jr. and high school onto the existing elementary school.
